    Lots of planes and helicopters last night. Bob wants to have a surface to air missile to shoot them down.

    We called our friends Fran and Roy Vardy who live nearby in Gilbert and invited them over for dinner tonight. Other than that we just enjoyed the beautiful Arizona weather and did some sight-seeing at the local Walmart.

    ... was rushing us to place our order - like the power would go out "right" at closing time if we didn't finish and get out or something. He kept repeating quickly "anything else, anything else?" when any of us gave our order. I'm sure the owner didn't mind our nearly $20 order of cookies and cupcakes - which helps pay for this guy's salary. Anyway that took away the joy of buying cookies at a place we made a special trip to visit.
