    ... The wine in the glass bottles has some preservatives and lasts a bit longer. But I’m sure she said that the plastic bottle wine would only last 14 days at best.

    In what was a _____ fashion, I arrived into Kefallonia on sunrise, I departed at sunset. We flew out over the island, giving me one last few of Yai Yai’s home before heading to Athens.     10am Jacqui and I go up to the Pool Bar for the Rep's welcome presentation, learn a few things about the Island and managed to Hire a care for 3 days. Nico will collect me from the Hotel to sort the car out at 3:30 so plenty of time to explore.

    I think we''re going along the Coast as I'm sure the the different shade of grey we can see is the Sea; which would mean we can see Zakynthos in the distance.
    After 40 minutes Julie comes on the PA to say we're nearing Katelios and just around the next bend you will see the Moon over the bay.

    ... Athens tomorrow and are starting to think about moving on and things we need to organise. So we spent a little time in the morning doing 'admin' stuff. Emails, bookings, once again checking out the Athens Metro and location of our hotel, getting the girls at reception to scan things for us etc. Takes quite a bit of organising.     We woke up and went to the famous cave in Kefalonia called Melissani cave of the nymphs. This cave is 39m deep, 160m long and 40m wide. It is 16,000 - 20,000 years old We went on a little boat and got to go around the cave. It was so cold. The water was all different colours of blue and green. After that we went to an other famous beach for the day called Skala. We stayed and swam there most of the day. We then left at 4pm to catch a ferry and head back to our house in ...
