A lot of driving today sadly leaving the beautiful mountains, heading to Graz. Graz is the 3rd largest capital of Austria, but more of an industrial hub, no mountains etc. Our hotel is about 10km out of the city centre booked here because I couldn't get a city centre hotel, have learnt today that's because the Austrian Grand Prix is on, which is one of the huge races ...
... For an additional fee, you can reserve one for your stay. Couples seem to be quite comfortable with snuggling in full view of people walking by. There are people napping around every corner.
The pools are huge, heated to 36 C. and interconnected. It is not busy but we estimate that if full, there would be around 500 people here.

... we had a friend there who we were going to see! Ate at a really nice Thai restaurant for lunch and then wet to watch 12 Years A Slave at an English cinema! Met up with Ross (Philipp) and had a really nice day with him! Just before we left for Graz, I had opened my window out onto the balcony, I turned around and a cat had appeared in my room! Naturally I was very excited about this and ended up sitting with it on my lap for about an hour!! So ...
We left the Hungary, crossed the boarder and appeared to Austria's easternmost and least populous land - Burgenland. We staied in farm Arkadenhof Pension - very beautiful country side place, clean and green, with many facilities, very nice owners Flasch family.

... I was describing my day with the Lipizzaner horses. And I said I had taken a photo of horse poop....because it was famous horse poop. They seemed to think that was a bit unusual so hilarity ensued. Cannot describe it. We just laughed all night. Wonderful.
