    Last day on this island. We went for walk down the other side of the island today, and saw in the water turtles and then a monkey seal. By the afternoon it was overcast again so had another lazy day around the pool, on the balcony, and getting our washing up to date. We had room service tonight as early flight tomorrow to Waikiki. Not many photos today as its all pretty much the same ...

    ... pup called Sage, who instantly made friends before trying to chew through my fingers and then my sandals. Keely said she used to live in London but fell in love with the islands and moved to Haena 20 years ago. She'd moved to the hotel for a few days to shelter from the hurricane but was going home tomorrow. Her house was still ok, thank goodness.

    ... setting and very fun. They had inner tubes, so we could float easily in the water and get used to the chilly water temperature. That didn't help Derek, though. When he sat down on his inner tube, he got flipped over and dunked in the water. It was very funny!

    The other great thing about the swimming hole was that there was a place you could go cliff jumping into the water. It was only about 10 feet high, but very fun! I'd done something similar before, although it was ...
