... better than the last as we get more comfortable in this new quiet universe. Each experience for me is a meditation during which I have no option but to be in the moment, with no talking, no planning, no predicting, no worrying, or any other such unnecessary wastes of precious energy possible. I'm hooked.

But this island experience still had more firsts to offer me. Thanks to the delightful mentor ship of Tanner and Annie, I am no longer a ...

Harriet turned out to be more skilled in the art of child care than she was at snorkelling and spent the rest of the trip looking after our kid...well, she was clearly that much closer to Jago in terms of age. The snorkelling was good if a little crowded. I saw a lot of interchangeable **** interspersed with the occasional colourful fish. The hilight was snorkelling (being swept along a vicious ...

Smitas holiday

... place and we stayed for a couple of drinks after our meal.

We were now heading to our final destination of the holiday. It seemed to have gone so quickly! We were due to leave at 8.30am but due to a mix up we were told it was 10.30am instead. We got a drink and some street food snacks whilst we waited then hopped in and we were there by midday. Kuta was clearly a popular place, most guesthouses were full so we had to settle for one that was a little run ...
