Wherever we've been in Scotland people have commented about how the weather this summer is unusually cold and rainy. Indeed, a walk outside or even a glance out a window brings song titles to one's head: A Rainy Night in Georgia, or Stormy Weather, for example. We woke to bright sunshine this morning, only to look again in a few moments and find it raining. It's continued ...

We walked around the cliff top to try and get a good photo and had to walk through all the sludge. On the way back across the cliff top to head down the path I had my first stack :P I slipped on the sludgey ground and somehow managed to land on one knee and not damage Jono's camera which ...

... beautifully and tasteful - so far our favourite church, did not have the grandeur of the churches in France but was quietly beautiful and felt good to be in. The graveyard beside church on each side had the beautiful old gravestone, lot of Iona crosses. The front gate to the church was under a wooden cover, the Church is in use for services on Sunday and also during the week, pleased such a beautiful church was used and enjoyed. The church is on the High Street, easily ...
