Day 9: Fort William to Mallaig

... prettiest train rides around. It lived up to it's expectations! The ride was only one hour and fifteen minutes. The scenery was beautiful with lots of lochs, trees, mountains and hills. We took a ton of pictures. Mallaig was our destination for the day. When we arrived we ate at a nice tea room in town. They only served Scottish food, which was interesting. Todd had a chicken and bacon club. It sounds normal, but it had slaw, ham as bacon, strong cheese and weird seasoning in it. ...

... Christchurch (Wairakei Road) where Logan used to live. Just waiting for the cheque to clear. That done, we are looking at being in Norway next winter (summer for you guys). We are here until the end of October. We are going to park the bike up and take the mighty Focus.

... Approaching the end I came to a high deer fence surmounted by a stile. I was just about to clamber over it when I reconsidered. Climbing over this fence would mean I might have to climb it again, this time without a stile. I followed the perimeter of the fence parallel to the shore for a mile or so.
