      My iPad does not like the internet services at the convent. I cannot make it connect! So I am reduced to writing on Pages and waiting for the Big D to make my internet work. I have to admit, it makes me a little bit mad! :-(. Fortunately, I have had one lovely biera and another glass of red wine and so it doesn't much matter that I have to do this backwards . .:-)

      ... was super nervous. Eventually I finally plucked up the courage to ask the bus driver where I should get off the bus. The driver was very helpful telling me where to get off and additionally giving me brief directions to my hostel. I could barely understand him but I understood his hand gestures.       We did a quick trip back to the cathedral this morning with a view to going inside but the queue was too long for the limited time that we had. However we found the markets again and Wendy got purple gloves that are probably leather - maybe. Back at the hotel, we were picked up and taken to the station but had to wait for quite a while for our fast train. The station was very, very busy so we people watched. ...

      It is time to leave Prestento, this is always hard for Robert, he is surrounded by relatives, which is an enjoyable experience for this only child of solo Italian migrants. He has his Australian god parents, but they italians that befriended Elda on her 3 month voyage to meet up with Carlo. Robert is close to them, we love then dearly, but the magic of Prestento and the beauty of Cividale pulls on his emotions. We left, travelled the autostrada to Venice with Maurizio and Bepe. ...

      ... husband! Oakvilla B&B-Inverness Scotland: -lovely lovely lady running it! -the best breakfast ever!!!! -my own room and shower it was amazing!!!
