Today we decided to explore the island of Koh Yao Yai where we are staying. To cover any distance on foot would be difficult so we decided to use the same means of transport as all the locals, and hire out a moped! For just £5.70 we hired out a moped for the full day (you actually get it for 24 hours but we don't need it tomorrow so dropped it back off). ... fancy. I have a balcony that overlooks the pool and out towards the sea. I met a man from Denmark and a couple from Russia on the trip to Kato yesterday. There are a lot of Russian tourists here, like Canadians I guess they need to get out of the winter cold and Thailand is not very far.
