We shopped at Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Bass & Co., Famous Footwear, Sperry Topsiders, Van Heusen, Dick's and Olympia sporting goods stores, and of course, the ever famous LL Bean, so many wonderful places, so little time and only so much money. ... it to our travel treasures at home! We walked out on a pier to see the neat boats tied to the docks like you would see in a great New England calendar. There was a white church steeple that rose up out of the trees on the other side of the harbor that made for the best picture! One of my favorites so far!

Breakfast at the b&b, then we walked to town to check on the boat schedule. Boat didn't leave until 1 so we walked around town then came back to the b&b for a while (I took a nap)...,walked back down to the pier for our boat trip. It was great! Cap'n Fish's Little Bit of Maine tour..,.2 hours long and the weather was gorgeous! Came back and had a quick snack ...

... Can't wait for breakfast! Dinner at Boathouse Bistro, then a walk back to the car. We could have walked from the b&b but we had to go to the grocery store for bottled water and wine! Hannaford is right down the road....reminds me of the little hometown grocery stores from my childhood, but they've got everything! Sat out on the deck when we got back but now we are sleepy! Day 13 - We reached the Atlantic

... so exciting, you see the Colbys in America seem to all descend from this couple who bought the house we saw today from Macy in 1654 I believe it was. Hence the name, Macy-Colby House.

After that we continued on east and caught our first glimpses of the Atlantic Ocean and smelled the wonderful ocean air for the first time in nearly two weeks. Home, but colder.
