October 11th-Saturday-Woke to rain! The TV guy called and asked if he could come now instead of Monday and we were glad. The power box in the closet has been beeping every 15 minutes since before I arrived in Boston! A new battery and no more beeps! That is now fixed, and much quieter here. Stayed home all day and then I fixed sirloin steaks and sweet potatoes for dinner, with a ...

Their Callander if events worked around the seasons, sun and harvest (well that figures if they worship Mother Nature!). But when it is not a day of celebration or when the witches are not meeting for a special occasion then they live in normal clothes, normal homes and do ordinary jobs or go to ordinary schools. Somehow I imagine ...

... We had our wine and listened to Christmas music, read a few more chapters in A Christmas Carol and by 9 I was off to bed, one tired body! Unfortunately Phil wakened me when he came to bed and I am finding that if awakened shortly after going to sleep makes it almost impossible to get back to sleep! So I read, I walked, I took sleeping pill, than another pill for restless legs, then tried the couch and finally, around dawn fell asleep! Phil had asked me before ...
