Zoutwinning is belangrijk in deze omgeving. Het is ook niet voor niets dat de naam Salzburg daar uit afstamt. De oorspronkelijk mijnen liggen op het grondgebied Hallein beter op de berg Bad Dürrnberg.

... day on Melbourne Cup Day 2012......we are so proud of her and her life at the moment......we think we did a pretty good job....but we did hear that her phone went missing after a party at her house in Paddington.....I contacted Interpol....I asked them to implement an international search and double checks at all airports....they just said " Not Alex Adams again....we are sick of looking for her photos...cameras....bags....forget it"...we were glad to hear that it turned up ...

Bavaria and Tirol
What an interesting day we had today. The place we stayed last night was wonderful. They fed us a nice 5 course meal followed by authentic Tirolian dancers. I have a movie clip I will try to upload soon. Then this morning they treated us to a wonderful breakfast buffett and sent us on our way with full bellies.
