Today we took the train from Vienna to Kitzbuhel. We had to transfer trains in Worgl, & expected to have 16 mins to make the connections. Well ...
... we had a drink at the bar and took our laptop down there where it works a lot better!! Tonight we walked down to what seems like a local social club. It was full of Austrians and they seem to be enjoying themselves. The meal was okay – I had fish but as you can tell it wasn’t outstanding. Doesn’t matter. Back in the room for planning for tomorrow and it doesn’t seem that noisy after all thank goodness.
... we went back to the appartement. We all had a break and spent time on our computers doing email, reading etc. Most of this time was spent on the balcony watching it rain and it rained pretty hard a couple of times. While out there Larry spied a bird. After we saw it the third time we confirmed that it was a Nutcracker, a life bird for both of us having never seen one before.

... at 11:00, we had to take off our coats and find some water. We checked in to the Eagle's Nest tour office and then headed outside to walk up the hill to the little town. And just our luck … as we headed outside the sound of cow bells began ringing out. Christine (our tour guide for the day) immediately yelled at us to run and see the cows coming down from the mountain. ... of old tractors at the side of the road and on the road. We stopped at Hofer (Aldi) grocery store for a few things at the south end of Zell am See. We missed the turn off and got on the bypass again having to go north of the city and then back south.
When we got back we had a little down time before going to supper at the Sports Stuberel. When we got back we talked about what to do tomorrow if/when it rains and blogged and went to bed.
