... Glide & Fatboy. We swapped stories on where we'd been and where we were headed and local customs in the US & Oz. The conversation turned to favourite drinks and before long the six of us were standing around the pool, bottles in hand swigging from our respective favourites.

Snap & Angela educated them to the delights of Bundaberg Rum (Snap & Ange have a bottle each on board) and they in turn let us sample their 'Apple Pie' liqueur. A very nice drop ...

We get our route slips the evening before that tell us what route we’re all taking to the next town (that way if we break down, the mechanics will come upon us eventually and help us out) and then we follow those directions at 6am the next morning. ... be in the 100-500 acre size so you are self sufficient.

If you work in a city or close by it is so easy to buy land which on the face of it is in the middle of nowhere but in fact is 15 minutes from an interstate and therefore work.

The old railway stop towns are no more and with the massive farms there is no need for people to be close to the land.

When these places become redundant they just fall in to disrepair. it does feel much more short term. ...

Left Memphis this morning, heading to Searcy yet again.
Had the best time ever in Memphis. Took a shot of the Heartbreak Hotel on our way out from the RV Park.
Will put some more Beale Street photos on this entry.
When we arrived back in Searcy, we noticed the old motorhome wasn't out in the selling yard.
Could it be true, has it sold!! Yay, it has! ...

... too bad, only second time in 4months. Lin, office lady at the dealership, and who has become a good friend, invited us out to her daughters place for dinner. Great night.
Thursday, Wendy feeling very ill with bad upper tummy pains. Didn't want to get sick while over here.
Hoping it is not Gallstones or something like that.
Off to the Sherwin Medical Centre late Friday. 3 hours and $186 ...
