... but Linton was dubious and after much testing and tinkering on his part, it finally got less and less charge so we had to get a new one from out of town. We really needed to do our laundry so this worked out fine. The lights are much brighter now. We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares. Here I go again - bursting into song. Time to go to bed. We are going to get some LEDs.

    Steam Day at Edgar

Had a change of plan this morning as we were going to head for Milwaukee, but Greg knew of a Steam and Vintage Tractor Fair in Edgar in Wisconsin, so we headed north for a couple of hours to have a look. The weather started off fine but got very overcast and misty by the time we got to Edgar, and when we turned off the highway into the field where the Fair was being held we could plainly see that they had received a pile of rain yesterday! The parking area in a paddock ...

Our Last Day in Two Rivers

Our last day was pretty nice. The weather was a cool, breezy 60's and sunny. In the morning I rode my bike into town, over the new drawbridge, past the harbor, and by the beach, all in one big loop. Overall it probably adds about 12 miles to my total.

We visited some huge garden today. It's a large, well-kept grounds full of flowers. Beautiful!
Not leaving until the afternoon, we wanted to wait ...

Today I woke up to grandpa being gone. He came back in about 15 minutes with danish pastries! I had a cherry-cheesecake danish for breakfast and will have a blueberry one tomorrow. After breakfast, I rode to Point Beach and back. MY BIKE IS GETTING MORE USE THIS WEEK THAN I HAVE RIDDEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I've learned how to use the gears on my bike though... :\

    The Family Reunion

Once again it is a beautiful day in Two Rivers. The weather here has been low 60's to mid 70's the whole time. This morning (Saturday - I know I'm a day late) I rode my bike from camp to town (a five mile trip). I was wrong, by the way, the path is 5 miles from Point Beach to camp, and 5 miles from camp to town. I met my grandparents at the park (which is just at the end of the bike trail) for the family reunion.

    The ...
