        ... peoples boats.
We went ashore to find, most of all rubbish disposal opportunities. We found one and a supermarket which was closed being a Sunday.

We enjoyed a wonderful seafood sharing platter for 35E which consisted of 6 courses. Brilliant – needless to say no dinner tonight.
In the evening we just chilled in the cockpit and watched a pretty impressive moon rise, and a not so impressive display of disco lights ...

Today moved further east and a little south. The coast line is just something (rewind and
press play!!!). The scenery as we were approaching our next destination is just magnificent – mountains in the background.

our destination. I know I say this a lot about the coastlines we pass but the Sardinian coast is something special even from a distance from shore.
We got to the Bonifacio Straights where we had the mountains of Sardinia on the
starboard side and the mountains of Corisca on the port side of us.
The anchorage we chose to stay in only had two other yachts, so quite peaceful ...

... are so big we all comment we should have shared them but we manage to finish them. Let's face it we are now accustomed to eating copious amounts of food! We chat to a few of the young local boys who have stopped for lunch and they are fascinated by the fact that we have come all the way from Australia. They are impressed and curious at the same time. It's a great little village very picturesque with friendly ...

... was on for me to have the first ski!!
Glen drove the boat, Kevin observer and I tried a deep water start, three attempts and no go!!!
the rid attempt I felt the "Hammies"...oh dear, not as young as I use to be. So I got out of the water and let Barry and Maurie have a go (they both experienced water skiers 15 and 30 yrs ago)
Well the same thing happened, Barry had several attempts and not go, put two skis on, still didn't get ...
