    Today In the morning we had a morning swim. The water was cold. yesterday we went to the poy du fou and it was phenominal. They were trying to act the ww1 and ww2, they did very good. At the poy du fou there were translators that can also change to the radio and I got to keep my one. We are staying at a miniature hotel.

    ... called Patrick and Coirine and their daughter, Sarah. What a fabulous evening, so many stories were told and everyone laughing and enjoying the fun, a couple to certainly keep in touch with, they keep their boat in La Croesty. The next day we decided on an early get up of 7.45am to sail to Les Sables d'Olonne so we could use the wind as it was dropping off later in the day.     On Saturday we visited the lovely resort of Sables d'oleronne. We enjoyed a walk along the beach and the waterfront and harbour. We enjoyed a Takeaway on the seafront. We loved looking around a small alleyway where houses are covered in shells.in the evening we had a singalong to guitar accompaniment on the campsite.     We had a lazy day around the campsite yesterday walking down to lake Jaunay in the morning and then swimming in the afternoon. The weather was a sunny 24 degrees. Forty two Of us enjoyed a Rally Meal at the Auberge by the lake in the evening which involved a two mile return walk down the hill to the lake.
