    At last we got the chance to spend more than a couple of days in Maastricht! My cousin Annelies and her husband Jules live there and it's a wonderful city full of history and culture. We really enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts and Jen and Matt were able to visit for my birthday.     ... Netherlands fashion, it started to rain. It was interesting walking around the town, but once again most shops were closed, today being Sunday. At least it is saving us money, no shops open, also no time to shop. Maastricht looks to be quite a wealthy town judging by the prices of things in the shops.
