Today, we started with Sequoia Vineyard and didn’t meet Dizzy the Australian Sheepdog on page 14 of the dogs of vineyards coffee table book.

We dropped into Duckhorn Winery for a toilet stop and felt most out of place especially with all the very expensive vehicles in the carpark. I admired the gardens, took lots of photos and talked to the gardener. (Must plant a ...

Complete with drawbridge, towers, moat and dungeon it serves as the home for the current very modest winemaking on site. Enjoy the photos! ... visits that makes an impression on you---or at least it did me. I like the idea of being able to take a gondola to the top, drink wine in a BEAUTIFUL setting, then ski back down to the base and car. Wait a minute---that must be the wine talking, as there wasn't ANY snow today. Even if you CAN'T ski off this hill, it STILL is a neat experience to ascend to the castle winery via a gondola tram.

Jet lag seems to be improving. Nathan was awake at 5am which is better than 3am. Breakfast at home of cereal and a cuppa. Another beautiful day cold but blue skies. Another walk out down the Main street to the Napa Valley coffee Roasting company. First soya latte of the trip and it was pretty good. Quick stop at the toy shop for some new bath toys for ...
