... Sated we did the proverbial tiki tour before connecting to Sonoma. We stopped for a stroll and an ice-cream which was very pleasant. Being Easter Sunday most of both towns were closed and family's were about enjoying the day so it was very pleasant. Coming back into SF we pulled off to the vista to get a real good look at The Golden Gate. And wow what a sight. One day watching this at sunset or with a rolling fog would be ...

On the way down from the lighthouse we stopped at Drakes Bay which felt a lot warmer as it is a bit more protected than the south beach. There is a visitors centre and cafe down there both which were closed due to it being off peak season. Quick drive up to Inverness were we had lunch ...

... headed out to the “wine strip”, as I call it. We were hoping to find a couple wineries that were still open and doing tastings.

We headed south, and stopped at the Charles Krugg Winery which had a sign saying they were open until 5pm, it was 4:48pm. We walked in and asked if they were still doing tastings, and the lady looked at us and then her watch and then back at us, and said well technically the last one is at 4:45pm, but let’s do ...
