Another sleep in and slow start. Kate, Chris and the boys stayed overnight so there were a lot of people milling about in the kitchen. We sat by the lake with our coffees and talked. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The whole morning passed like this with a walk, a swim, a visit by other friends - Susannah Nossel and David Greenberg and their daughter Liza, and lots of conversation. By ...

We had to dress in white clothing to represent us as part of a community and continued from flag pole to light the menorah while the past years of pioneers presented quotes about this weeks theme of knowledge. We then went to the amphitheatre for our ceremony of prayers at the lake. It was absolutely gorgeous! Moving onto the ...

... of us. We collected Lauren and her beautiful peki-poo (Pekingese/poodle cross) puppy Parker, and then slowly, very slowly made our way to Callicoon, in very unsavoury driving conditions, with fog and rain limiting visibility, and a lot of heavy traffic escaping the city for Christmas. It was exciting even in the dark to pass through Bethel, the site of the famous 'Woodstock' 45 years ago, and somewhat poignant to remember that Joe Cocker, who had died the day before had really made ...
