expensive, but worth it if thats your sorta thing, a nice location, nice staff, and some great regulars who stay at the resort for a couple of months each year. would recommend for a laid back place to meet others

Noisy aircon drowned out slightly noisy bar but other than that very enjoyable stay. Bar and restaurant very chilled and nice food. Most staff very friendly. Large room, clean

Life is a beach

... another beach, again on the south of town called "Klong Dao" beach.
This time I walked on the beach and the view took my breath away. The blue sky and the green mountains are reflected making the water a perfect blue green shade.
The water was calm and we all went for a refreshing swim before siting on the hot sand.
The sky was very clear allowing a good view of the nearby islands.
Life is a beach :)

... to pick a DVD from the hotel's collection was enough to beat the weather, and we decided it would be apt to watch The Beach! After an afternoon slumming about with Leo, we went out for authentic Esan food as a form of penance for our lack of culture, and the food was incredible (so not much of a penance then!) So ended an awesome lazy day. The weather looked better today, and as a result we decided to go for the 4 Island snorkelling trip. This involved an ...

... place where the food wasn't great and we definitely ate to much but for the time of night and how hungry we were it was just what we needed. We've headed back to the room to get a good nights sleep as on the 20th we have booked to get the bus and ferry to Ko Phanghan at 6am and tomorrow morning we also have to be up at a reasonable time to move rooms in the hotel as our penthouse style room is booked out for the night of the 19th :(  All ok though and still enjoying it, Dan and Katherine ...
