We have stopped in Pine Ridge, South Dakota! We had to fill up gas after driving around 79 miles. This cost us $14.80 to do so. While we stopped here, we met one of the local people that lived here! He lived in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation! He was a very interesting person who told us about his family history and that they had been living in Alliance for centuries! We are now headed to Keystone, South Dakota to see Mount ...

We have finally arrived Alliance, Nebraska! We won't be doing much here because we are so close to South Dakota. With that being said, we will be filling up with gas for $22.42 after driving 120 miles to Alliance. After a quick lunch break, we will be driving all the way to Pine Ridge, South Dakota!

... as you released the throttle it would stall.

I thanked the man, and tried to pay him for the gas or compensate him for his time, but he refused and just asked me to 'pay it forward'. He also declined to be filmed or phootgraphed which really bummed me out, as this is a great story. So I started the bike again, held the throttle partially open and drove straight to the gas station, filling the tank the whole way. Sadly I only put in about $15.00 worth of gas, about half ...

... stopped due to a dead battery. I don't like it in YOUR world, too noisy with all the wind, loud pipes and other cars. I like it much more in Lou's World, inside my helmet with active cancellation, much more serene! I shall ensure my battery is charged daily!

Turning onto hwy 26 I stopped for a quick nap about 100 km short of my stopping point. I realize I was very close but we have to remember we are on vacation here ...
