... marker! At some point we see a man riding his bicycle along the freeway - well, it's just Nebraska...
From there we follow I-80 through Nebraska to Ash Hollow, which used to be an important rest area for pioneers, because it's very grassy, and lots of clear water. Here you can get a great view of the old ...

... stopped due to a dead battery. I don't like it in YOUR world, too noisy with all the wind, loud pipes and other cars. I like it much more in Lou's World, inside my helmet with active cancellation, much more serene! I shall ensure my battery is charged daily!

Turning onto hwy 26 I stopped for a quick nap about 100 km short of my stopping point. I realize I was very close but we have to remember we are on vacation here ...

From our quick trip to Carhenge we moved on at about 3:30 MDT to the Chimney Rock State Historical site. As we got closer and finally pulled into the parking lot we noticed there was no close access to the rock and decided to forgo the admissions fee and just snap a couple of pictures in the parking lot.
