How do you do any justice to the level of appreciation that these landscapes and experiences warrant? My five senses are constantly in awe of what the world is able to throw at them. While it may seem like an everyday routine, I believe (and sincerely hope), that this sense of wonder never wears off.

Last day in Zermatt
... 15 cff a single serving, we negotiated with the girls that we would have 2 fondues to share and we would come back later. When we returned the restaurant was still closed, so instead we strolled down to the largest chocolate shop in town and bought 5 chocolate pieces, one for each of us which totalled 15 cff - delicious but dear. Alpine hike
... the scenery, there was a BBQ and heaps of picnic chairs around the garden, we ate our Tim Tams and fruit before starting the 1 1/2 hour trek back down. We all loved the walk and the time flew so quickly, there was so much to take in, the rugged houses, the rustic animal barns, the shepherds starting to herd their animals in for the afternoon. The colours and the smell of the forest was so different to anything we have trekked in before. I think we will all sleep well ...
