... time by the craters edge. I absolutely hate climbing downhill, I love a good climb up but downwards motion just kills my legs so I was delighted to learn that for the entire descent we would put on our "ass-protectors", strap on our wee sledges and slide the snow the full way down on the snow. 5 hours up, 90 minutes down. I actually didn't end up drinking that much so didn’t feel too bad on Boxing Day morning. I decided to use the men’s bathrooms to have a hot shower. It's been winter for so long and people feel cold and sad, then the first warm sunny day hits, out of nowhere. You wake up feeling totally refreshed, everyday activities feel lighter, you think ...

... But it was really relaxing even though it smelled like sulfur.

Back in the hostel we only slept.
Next day (Sunday) we allready had to pack our stuff which we left in some lockers outside the hostel. Then we went to the beach which was pretty close (this is a lake btw not the ocean).
First we walked around a little but soon we found some boats (do you want one of us to come along and paddle for you? No, we can do this, NOT).
As you can see, we had some difficulties ...
