... Bijagua and then the apparent shuttle to the National Park didn’t actually exist, so set off walking 10km down a dirt path, with the waist strap of my backpack finally breaking. This meant I now had no working straps and had to improvise some whacked up pile of knots – fortunately we were able to hitch a ride pretty quickly, dump the bags at the ranger station and be the first people in the national park.
