      ... the viewpoint of the township of La Fortuna the volcano looks like a lush mountain, thriving with forests that extend to its crater.       5 hrs later I awoke to the first light of day and a whole new set of jungle sounds...a morning serenade of howlers, and daytime birds. I got up and opened the drapes...WOW! the view took my breath away. The windows and our balcony overlooked miles of jungle and the Arenal Volcano. It was stunning.
