I finally managed to go snorkelling on  my last day in Samara. The sea was a bit rough but the reef wasn't too far of a swim and after asking around a bit I found out it was quite feasible to venture out myself. An hour of snorkelling pretty much tired me out but I did see some fantastic fish, huge numbers of schoolers mostly which were really impressive.  But my biggest surprise was waiting for me back at the beach as I was making my way back to the town. I so very much wish I'd had ...
