Earlier than normal for breakfast before starting the drive back via the southern coast. A new toll road, 3 lanes each way, made the middle part of the journey very quick. Interesting to see the huge cuttings through the hill sides and then 7 tunnels which saved heaps of time with a making it shorter and the speed limit 120km made it faster too. There is more construction going on too, but it ...

We went along the coast on the old road to Gazipasa and then along the new road before taking the inland rural roads to get a great view to the Alanya coast. ... cost road is very scenic, but the road itself is nasty, very twisty but loads of lorries and very gravelly in places. Not an enjoyable ride at all
Bumped into a Kiwi, he is on his way to London from Cyprus, however he is 5 days behind due to passport issues so I left him to continue his 12 hour journey by himself. Riding during the day is scary enough here, I'm not riding at night......

    Locomotion in Lamos

Sundays adventure consisted of a hour bus trip up the side of a mountain to reach the ancient site of Lamos way up in the hills. It started out quite interesting when Michael the guy in charge was punching it up a cobblestone road in a minibus from the 80's full of about 20 people. At one point we were practically air borne as he revved launching us up one of the slopes. When we finally got there, much to my ...
