We had a 5 hr wait in Acapulco for our overnight bus to Puerto Escondido. Both keen to see the famous cliff divers and not too sure how it would happen. But a lovely little mexican taxi driver Orlando took us under his wing and chauffeured us around for 4 hrs all for $20. Dinner was delicious! We got a cab ride (hilarious, the five of us shoved into a VW beetle, the old kind. Seriously, Acapulco is where all the old beetles are, I mean ALL of them! There are sooo many of them here. Wow) to a horrible looking place, with amazing food! It was greasy and great. Back to the boat, we all slept on board.
... to do that. there is a wonderful island just off the coast also which I would like to see in the morning.
We then went to a wonderful restaurant for dinner where I had some lovely spare ribs.
Finally after another walk around the city I am back at the hotel and doing my blog.
Its now 2am and another long day tomorrow. My arms are now burning with so much sun today so tomorrow its long sleeves for sure.

... Bay! We couldn't believe we had found somewhere like this that was so inexpensive and advertised on a hostel website.
Our first stop was at a pharmacy so we could get me some of the tablets that had by now cured Matt's tummy troubles. Within two days I was too completely cured by the magic tablets and could enjoy the rest of our time on the coast.
