After leaving Bathurst on Wednesday morning we headed to Orange and, although a busy town, its charm was in its buildings and gardens. Street after street of lovely old homes and all in good condition so we left Orange with a great impression.

We awoke this morning in the Tom Groggin campsite listening to the rushing waters of the Murray River just below us.
The plan today was to pushbike ride to the headwaters of the Murray River. Should be easy we figured as the road ahead was a four wheel drive track.
