    ... the distance…we can see MOUNTAINS. We get to Spring Creek, check in, and park. We are across from the laundry, so yay I can do laundry. Allen takes photos of the campground and the raging torrent called Spring Creek. The rains here have filled the rivers and creeks. We’re glad we’re not on a campsite near the river. So, we finally call it a night—glad to be here safely through the rain. We leave tomorrow for Yellowstone.

    ... inside. It felt and sounded like parts were being torn off the vehicle. Since the winds did not die down we took off again. The winds are horrendous. After particular gusts the slide out comes out of its track. We have stopped 6 times to correct this. Needless to say when Ed was planning his next stop he did not anticipate have to floor board the unit to go 55 mph instead of the suggested 80 speed limit???!! In a car maybe. The day ...

    ... pleasant secondary highway, through some innocuous small towns and along some pretty rivers and rain forest. At noon we stopped at Deception Falls rest stop which had a lovely half mile loop walk along a pretty active little river with falls and rapids. The walk had some interesting interpretive signs along the way.
