... then off to Innsbruck via the town of Garmish. We had some wonderful country side. After afternoon tea ( they can't make decent coffee but who care) we headed off to Innsbruck, and some more beautiful country side. The green fields or paddocks in my lingo is wonderful. The drive today is one of the nicest we've had. It's a long way, 4 hours, but mostly through towns and resorts so lots to look at - stunning scenery; more wooden houses bursting with flowers, over flowing as if in competition (maybe they are?) and big mountains, really ...

... we hiked all the way to the peak of Hafelekarspitze (2334m tall)! It was easy to tell the air was really thin because after only 10 steps into our uphill hike we were both huffing and puffing. The view was incredible! Pictures don't even begin to do it justice! I would go back to Innsbruck in a heartbeat just to go back up the alps! It was amazing! Once we were at the top we noticed some people had gone a little off the path and ...
