I spent part of the morning at the Motor Maid mall chatting with Betty Nearing (aged 90) who was so happy with all the cards she received from the Motor Maids for her birthday. She was really thrilled with all the cards she got from the Canadians and even one from the Netherlands. She said she ...

Denise Pelrine, our District Director went to the Red Ribbon luncheon with Janet Gallagher and Kathy Gallant, our two red ribbon girls from Atlantic Canada. The rest of the Atlantic Canada Motor Maids including Colleen Murphy, whom we have loaned to Florida, had a wonderful lunch today at the bistro which makes very tasty and ...

I went grocery shopping with Denise after lunch. We received an update from Lynne, our ADD (Assistant District Director) on the plans for the weekend. Then we registered early and 4 of us helped sell 50/50 tickets. After registration finished (6-8 pm) Atlantic Canada Motor Maids had supper at Chilis and it was excellent. We were joined by Delaine from Ohio MM and Laura Pool (Gypsy) and Kathi ...

    Very relaxing and enjoying

We spent two wonderful nights at the Inn to attend a wedding in Fredericksburg. We stayed in the little house out back and loved it! It was charming, comfortable and clean. Our lovely hosts cooked us a delicious breakfast on Sunday and showed us around the rest of the Inn. It is evident that they have a design background in the beautiful furnishings and appointments. We walked into the shoppping area of town and enjoyed all the gift and antique shops. We can't wait to go back!

    Wonderful hosts

We rented the whole house in June for our family. It was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were very nice. After a great nights sleep, the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. Gloria and Fred really know how to put on a meal! The house is across the street from the Nimitz Museum and just down the street from the shopping. We liked it so much we are going back in September for a "scrapbooking slumber party".

    Excellent stay

We had a great time in Fredericksburg and at Das Keidel Inn. The breakfast was excellent with friendly hosts!

    Great Place To Stay

We arrived in Fredericksburg on Saturday afternoon with no reservations. We were lucky enough to find the Das Keidel B & B with a vacancy. What a delightful treat. Very accomodating to my husband and myself, great breakfast and delightful company. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Can't wait until we return and stay again.

    Home Away from Home

Fred and Gloria Soto are charming, competent hosts. Their Inn has a delightful decor with all the convenience and comfort of home. Breakfasts were delicious and abundant. Location is excellent...easy to find and within walking distance to almost everything! We will return!

    Wedding weekend

Last summer our daughter married in Fredericksburg. In preparation for the wedding we made many trips to the Hill country and always stayed at the Keidel Inn. It became our second home. It is by far "the best " B&B in Fredericksburg. The interior design is absolutely beautiful, the food delicious(Gloria shared her recipes) , and it is a very relaxing home - which is necessary after a day of shopping. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything - and yet quiet and peaceful. Gloria and Fred Soto are extremely talented and the Keidel House is perfect for a family gathering or a lovely place for a small wedding.

    Fantastic B&B in Fredericksburg, Texas

We have stayed several times at Das Keidel Inn in Fredericksburg, Texas and it is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It is right on the main street so we walked to shopping, restaurants, museums and galleries. The Inn is decorated beautifully and the beds are heaven to sleep in. The food(full hot breakfast) is fabulous and so are the hosts, Fred and Gloria Soto! The patio provides a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the garden. Everyone should experience this casual, but elegant Inn.

    Fabulous decor, food, service, views!

Das Keidel Inn is lovely. Beautiful decor, delicious food, excellent and friendly service. Pretty view.

    Incredibly relaxing and fabulous

Just returned from a stay at Das Keidel, and found it adorable and charming. The pictures on the web *don't* do it justice, as it was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, we felt right at home, and the house was beautiful. The hosts were warm and welcoming and great conversationalists. We will definitely be back!

    Das Keidel Inn

Stayed at this B and B over New Years weekend. Most B and B's in the area do not have accomodations for late night walk ins ( it was around 830 pm on a Saturday). Das Heidel was open and the pictures on the web (if you can find any) dont do it justice. We had spent the day hiking at enchanted rock, and the rhine suite was affordable (not much more than the super 8 down the road) and luxurious. We felt royal spending the night. I do not usually go the B and B route but strongly recommend Das Heidel to either a couple or family (for the upstairs suite) beth
