We had our first night at Horizon Beach Resort & Spa, we are all in 1 room with 2 double beds that are very similar to sleeping on a rock. We had a complimentary fruit bowl and 4 bottles of water - They really are going out of their way for us. We got up this morning and had breakfast, lots of tropical fruits (Longans, White Guava's which are bigger than a granny smith apple. I think they were white because they weren’t ripe yet, I suppose ...

... poles with freelancing prostitutes at each one, the place was pretty mental with a mixed clientele of old sexpats and younger Ozzie's & European blokes all out to take full advantage. We went back to the Irish bar for a few more drinks and some quality (but pricey) home cooked food and then hit the hay.

The next day I was looking around for things to do online and came across football crazy golf which sounded like gas craic. Nicola said she was wrecked and ...

... Kata Kitchen, Kata Beach's number 1 for food. After we had wandered in the wrong direction for a while, we had to resort to a taxi. He had to work for his 150 baht as he had to stop at least 3 times to ask his taxi friends where he as meant to be going! The food was tasty and the customer service was excellent. When we asked for our walking directions back to the hotel she was very apologetic that the boss had left early so they couldn't ...
