... As far as side trips you could visit Karchner’s Caverns or Tombstone but those are sights that have already been seen. Besides, we’re hell bent on getting to Jacksonville, FL by mid-day on the 3rd so Roy can be in the Keys and on the water for the 4th of July with good friends, Mike and Dawn.

Woke up about 7:45 AM. We needed the rest after the long 17 hour day. Jumped in the vehicle and drove 45 minutes east to Benson, AZ which is the home of the Kartchner caverns. A Snow Day in Las Cruces

... that we had ventured out and down to the "Closed-down Town". Being from Montana, we don't always know what the best choices are. No big deal, since we got back safely and a bit wiser. The winters here for the next twenty years or so should be "bare and dry" after this storm.

I took only the one picture, through the windshield of the coach to give you an idea how it looks as I type this. We'll be here until at least Friday, so more to follow.
