      Second day at SEA Semester.
We had the usual intro to courses, syllabus, book, materials and so on. But the highlight of the day was the visit to the library of Woods Hole. There we had the chance to see books as old as the 1500s, depicting illustrations and ...

Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedroom and one bathroom. Each night there is one or two people that are in charge of cooking dinner for the house following a schedule.

As we awaken this morning the sky is overcast, and we can
see that it rained during the night. The weather forecast has changed for the
days ahead, and not for the better. Showers are predicted off and on. Today is
our transfer day from Chatham to Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. We aren't
scheduled to ride our bikes until late this morning.

We were given a choice of either leaving our car in Chatham, or driving it to
      Woods ...

      Rural Nantucket and Swanky Edgartown

... it’s a good way to see the large nature preserve, which is basically only accessible via oversand vehicles with deflated tires or on foot. We had just enough time to do a morning tour of ~2.5 hrs, visit the small town of Siasconset (or Sconset as it’s better known) for lunch and then back to Nantucket town to catch the ferry back to Martha’s Vineyard.

Since the highest point on Nantucket is about 60ft above sea level and there are ...
