      Some excursions around San Rafael. We drove to Muir Woods, towering Redwood trees, and to Petaluma, where we spent some time in the garden of the local bus supervisor from San Rafael. We met a dad and his 37 year old daughter who was in a wheelchair, and used a communication device to speak to us. We talked to them for a couple of hours.       ... present from Michael was a night's stay in an Adventure tent. It was awesome! After a week of camping, a night of "glamping" was much appreciated. The kids stayed in a tent/cabin. The huge redwoods that surrounded our cabins were impressive ,as well. We ventured up the steep steps to Fernwood's Resort bar & grill. It was full of locals and a few tourists.       October 27th MC & N played tennis. I walked around Sonoma and then we went to picture framers and shopped. Back and had a quiet afternoon.
