... by a Persian architect – plus it was the first garden tomb on the Indian sub-continent. Its another one with perfect symmetry throughout. Parts of the garden divided exactly, plus gates perfectly aligned too.
We then drove past India Gate, a memorial built in 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in World War 1 and the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls.
