As we returned to the car we could hear wonderful Blues type music coming from the garden of a bar called The Brown Jug.
Being in no particular rush to leave, we pulled up two chairs and happily sat with drinks in hand listening to this wonderful musician playing on his acoustic guitar and mouth organ.

... most unexpected visitor we've had is a large turkey which paraded in front of us when we were out on our deck. It eventually flew off into one of the trees.
The nice warm weather has come to an end with rather more extreme weather than we expected with high winds and rainstorms, and Hurricane Joaquin threatening to come up this coast. We're heading out to Boston for 3 days then down to NYC from there.
After that tour, we were going to drive at least half way to Cape Cod, but we discovered that Shanksville, PA was not far from our route, so we all stopped to see the Flight 93 crash site. We arrived to a hubbub of activity, television trucks and camera crews and lots of people all in attendance to launch, in anticipation of the 14th anniversary of 9-11, the new Visitors Center at the Flight ...
Well, here we go. We're of on our annual trip to the middle of nowhere in Vermont, though this time were going to Canada too. Which means more driving, more packing, and more French.
We were supposed to learn some French over the last few months, but we really didn't listen to the tapes ...
... too, so the teachers at each place were laughing along with the kids, which is always nice to see. :)
After the daycares, we had a couple of hours off until our sponsor contact was off work (he would be our next driver), so we went back to the RV, ate lunch, John touched up his make-up, and we took off to the town park, where a number of baseball games were happening that evening.
