I was pretty lucky to be staying so close to town so in the morning, I woke up, said bye to dairmaid (who was off to NYC) and i walked into downtown hartford. We had the the chance to visit the Mark Twain museum and his house. Learned a lot about this great American author and character and what influenced him and his writings. We also visited Elizabeth rose park with a colorful, circular rose garden (well laid out with 100s of rose bushes) and lots of ...

After a wet Amherst, we drove to Glastonbury to see Anuj and family, a friend from UMASS. They live SE of Hartford,a green, beautiful suburb and in a wonderful (big!) house. It was good to see them after a long time and see how the kids have grown up. Shankar, another friend from UMASS, ...
