After we became tired of being cold, we hopped in the car and started to drive to Missouri. Well, I'm still in the car, a few hours away from Missouri and it's getting really late, so, someone will update you guys soon. Bye ...

The Best Little RV Park in Texas

... we didn't want to buy as well as many restaurants. This area of Texas was settled in large part by German immigrants in the mid-19th C. The area is also known as the Peach Capital of Texas but alas the season ends in August. It is also the heart of the Texas wine industry and there were several tasting rooms in town which we chose to pass up.

I love wildflowers, so it was a must on our things to do list and we weren’t disappointed (well I wasn't). We took a tip from the hotel manager and set off north from Fredericksburg along a little circular trail we were informed was THE place to see the bluebonnets at the moment. He was ...

Inn on the Creek = A+

    from anonymous

We stayed at Inn on the Creek for our honeymoon. My new husband had never stayed in a B & B before. As we walked up to the porch we found beautiful Christmas decorations, rockers, the landscaping is very nice. We opened the front door to an incredible Christmas tree, everything was so tastefully decorated. We didn't get past the entry before my new husband was saying, "How did you find this place; this is really great!" We stayed in the "Treehouse Suite", it's freshly decorated, beautiful furniture & drapes, immaculately clean....very private....very quiet.....yet just a block off Main St. Breakfast was wonderful every morning (& I'm hard to please, I teach Food Science). The ladies on staff were friendly & a wealth of information about Fredricksburg. We'll definitely want to spend more time at Inn on the Creek. (Cookbook coming out soon?) P & K, Valley View, TX

    The In Inn

    from anonymous

The location can't be beat with a short block from Main Street. Breakfast was on time and delicious with fresh fruit and all the staples of a heathy meal. Snacks and bottled water were provided and the room was spacious and private with a bath. Outdoor hot tub and everything you would want for a great B&B! Hope to stay there on my next trip.

Wonderful weekend -- Inn on the Creek

    from anonymous

The Inn on the Creek was decorated beautifully; our stay was very relaxing. We especially enjoyed our full breakfast--hats off to the fantastic chef! Coffee on the patio, a marvelous breakfast, conversation with other guests, and conversation with the hostess about the history of Fredericksburg was most enjoyable. We plan to stay at Inn on the Creek again soon.

Great place to get away !!

In my opinion there are three things that make an Inn perfect, 1) Location, 2)Service, and 3) Quallity acomodations, Inn on the Creek is got all three. We really enjoyed our time in Fredericksburg and that was greatly due to the fect we stayed at the Inn on the Creek. The location is extremly convinient and the service was superb, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were wonderfully decorated, clean and very confortable. The shops on main street were charming and there was plently of other things to do at walking distance from the Inn. We are totally hooked and look forward to returning soon.

    Charming B&B

    from anonymous

This B&B was a great choice for a quick getaway. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the patio and front porch are a great place to relax and take in the sights. Only a half block off Main Street and all the shops and restaurants it is still pretty quiet even in the evening. The chef and hostess, Debbie,

made great breakfasts and we enjoyed chatting with her and all the other guests. My husband really loved that part of our stay.

Inn On The Creek Is Awesome

    from anonymous

Cozy home off busy Main Street. Access to shops is excellent. All rooms are simply awesome. The Garden View Suite is the largest in the house and offers a sitting area. Breakfast is prepared and served by Debbie, who is a gracious hostess. Owners are very pleasant and have great ideas about upgrading and expanding home. We will check out the Tree House Suite on our next trip. Rocking chairs on the front porch are an excellent way to practice the art of doing nothing. We will return to Inn On The Creek!

    Quiet and Relaxing Inn

    from anonymous

Wonderful inn with beautifully decorated rooms. The linens were luxurious. The breakfast was wonderful and our hostess was friendly, but not too talkative in the morning which was nice. Its close to the main street and shopping, but far enough away not to hear the noise of the main street in the evenings. Beautiful old (hundred years old) trees in the yard. We were able to sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs and enjoy our coffee and the red birds in the morning:)

    What a great convenient place!

    from anonymous

We had a really nice visit in this charming B & B that is just getting started with new owners. The decor is not finished, but is shaping up very nicely. The breakfast was definitely way above average and Debbie, the cook and hostess, was a most pleasant person to have greet us, cook breakfast for us, and visit to with. We also loved the fact that it is so close to Main Street without actually being right on it.

Lovely time in Fredericksburg at Inn on the Creek

    from anonymous

Although the completely remodeled/refurbished Inn on the Creek just re-opened, we had a wonderful stay. Our "Garden View Suite" was one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in. Our full breakfast was delicious and we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home! The location is perfect for visiting all of the shops and eateries, including the "Biergartens" in Fredericksburg... we walked up and down Main Street with total ease! The other guests at the B&B were all very pleasant and we sat around for hours "chatting" while enjoying breakfast. We will definitely stay at Inn on the Creek for future visits to Fredericksburg!
