The weekend after we got back from Barbados was a long weekend. So far we have only been away once over a long week-end either due to Matt's work or because they sort of snuck up on us. We looked at exploring areas north of New York but as we left it a bit late accommodation was a bit limited and car rental expensive so we decided to visit Atlantic City – a 2-hour bus ride away and we could book a hotel on Matt’s points!

We decided to have breakfast outside the hotel at a corner diner. Coffee was fantastic, food just the norm. Then off to the Laundromat to do our weeks washing. Free wifi was a bargain. Then off to the Outlet shops. Darren wanted to go to the Converse store, he bought 3 pairs and cooper bought a pair. Not my style of shoe to buy, too many laces!
