... Here I watched two period movies aptly named, Independence and Choosing Sides. The first a reenactment of the events leading up to and including the signing of Independence and the second bringing to life the journals for four people living the times. I had never seen it snow before and had only once seen a tiny patch of dirty ice mush on a school excursion in Year 6 so that didn't really count. So the whole time in Philly I was ridiculously annoying to Renee pointing it out every time a bit of snow came down. It was great!
Besides the snow, Philadelphia is a really pretty little town. It isn't very big ...

... in Marlton, NJ representing team Espana. It was an intense competition between 10 different countries including 9 drinking events. About two hours before the competition was going to commence, 2 of the 4 Espana teammates dropped out. Lew scrambled to get a team together. Team Espana finally got a team with minutes to spare that was comprised of Lew, Bridget the beast, Mike (a practically non-drinker) and Bill, (an old, old drinking friend). ...
