    Out of the motel by about 9:30. Miles and miles of green trees. Truly Oregon! Our first stop is back to the Coquille River Lighthouse again. More pictures; this time with the morning light. We drive through and around the Bandon Marsh and wildlife refuge and then on down the road to Bandon.

    Immediately on going through that second gate you spot the first difference between this place and other zoo's.. the deer, goats, llamas and donkeys walking freely around the walkways just like we were! And they know where the food comes from - so you immediately get a bunch of these animals ...

    ... reading about towns as we whiz through them only to turn back at the last minute is both frustrating and really slowing our progress.

    So with a hotel day already booked we packed up our tent and said farewell to Crescent city. The plan of action is to get to Golds Beach early, check into our hotel and do some serious planning.
