Day 2 NYC

... we went back to hotel for a few hours before trying at 5pm to get a cab for the Blue Note. That was really a challenge for the hotel guy and it took probably 20+ minutes! But we eventually got one and got there about ten of 6... Perfect time to get in line and wait for doors to open at 6. We got tickets on their website but using American Express card which got us reserved seats which we would do again. The venue is VERY crowded and close with everyone ...

... and by taking an on-site walking class of Ancient Roman Monuments (from which I can confidently say that I can take anybody on a tour of Ancient Rome).
By living in Rome, I learned a sad amount of the Italian language, how to dangerously cross the road in the midst of afternoon traffic, the closest place to watch the sunset, which public transportation to take without having to purchase a ticket, and how easy it is to **** off any Italian... all important things to survive ...

... boys. Traffic was brutal and it took the hotel guy 10 mins just to get a cab. We got within a few blocks and traffic was dead stopped so we got out and walked. We weren't hungry so just got a cookie at Starbucks to hold us over ( show started at 7pm) Fabulous show! Music was great as was story and acting. We loved it!
