... do it I can buy the wider and decorative trim for the front door. Late this afternoon the insurance guy called, finally, and I have an appt tomorrow for the damage estimate. Then at 5 we headed east to the Hitching Post for the evening. Gary and Sharon, Mike and Vickie and Dick and Diane were there before us. Had a good time listening to Ron E Cash. Later Phil and I had a long chat with him. Then all went home with plans for next week.

... before eating lunch after 2 pm. when we missed the raptor live release.

We left 3-ish and the traffic was worst at Tuscon and later in Phoenix. We stopped at Casa Grande for a quick visit with Roger and Sandra Ebata. They drive their huge motor home there and we caught them as they were taking off for a hockey game in Phoenix.It has been a very long time since we saw them!

Dinner was Chinese food - way better vegetables than we get at home.

... a mile from the trail itself. I put in a total of five and a half miles. It was the longest I've ridden since last fall. Some of the hills caused a bit of a burn in my legs, but that was just a reminder that I need more miles with Dolores.
