So, we stopped to see Ken and his father senior Ken Jones who was instrumental in getting Gerry his teaching job in Huron Valley, also stopped by for lunch to chat. Ken senior's wife, Faye, was in real estate in Milford/Highland area for some years and passed away 4 years ago. Ken senior is remarried to a very lovely lady. So a fun time talking about old times ...

After brunch we drove up Camelback Mountain for a view of the Papago Buttes and downtown Phoenix - just great.

Picked Abby up from Doggy day care and she was fine - had a good day cause right now she is crashed out on the lounge next to me!

After a quick lunch we began driving towards Phoenix. We stopped at Bedrock City which is in the town of Valle - if you google Bedrock City you will see images of the place. Someone with too much time and too much land has built a life size replica of the Flintstones town of Bedrock. It was really big and really well done.

We continued on South towards Phoenix stopping in the quaint town ...

... accordingly so no two people order the same thing. This allows maximum menu variety. I love it. Ruben IV - is almost worse than his Dad and even more adventuresome. ... before eating lunch after 2 pm. when we missed the raptor live release.

We left 3-ish and the traffic was worst at Tuscon and later in Phoenix. We stopped at Casa Grande for a quick visit with Roger and Sandra Ebata. They drive their huge motor home there and we caught them as they were taking off for a hockey game in Phoenix.It has been a very long time since we saw them!

Dinner was Chinese food - way better vegetables than we get at home.
