... take two liters of water with and keep hydrating ourselves well, so we don't have any problems along that line. It was in the lower eighties when we got back after our three plus mile walk. We were out less than an hour and a half, but got a nice workout, since there are some decent hills on our route.

Lynn noticed that only a few of the saguaros are in bloom. There are numerous here and we're wondering if they bloom ...

After a quick lunch we began driving towards Phoenix. We stopped at Bedrock City which is in the town of Valle - if you google Bedrock City you will see images of the place. Someone with too much time and too much land has built a life size replica of the Flintstones town of Bedrock. It was really big and really well done.

We continued on South towards Phoenix stopping in the quaint town ...

... I was having enough problems that I did not need any additional issues of trying to replace all the balls I lost. The mountains in the background added to the great views and we had a blast. Then we got to 16. The stadium bleachers were not there because they take them down for the rest of the year but you could see where they set them up. We arranged with the newly weds to go out for breakfast next day and the setting was awesome , Mark took us to a really super resort hotel overlooking a lake and golf course, so loads of green grass and a few ducks... and the menu was superb.. the weather was warm and sunny as we sat chatting and eating watching Mark and Svetlana opening their wedding cards...

The four of us then left the newly weds for the day, in the morning we walked around old town ...

Oct 26th Friday-Today was a book signing at Silver Clay on Albion St in Wakefield. Phil gave a bit of a talk and we sold 7 books with only about 12 people attending. When we walked in a lady was waiting with 3 books and left ...
