Historical Traveler Reviews The Inn at Mazatlan
Great Trip
I stayed at the Inn At Mazatlan last spring break and i loved it. The place was clean and the people were friendly. the food was also good.
The only thing i would say is that it is not the best place for a college spring breaker. Its more for someone who just wants to relax.
Best 2 Weeks In A While
I stayed at The Inn for 16 days last spring break and was extremely impressed with the service, food and atmosphere. My only complaints were the lack of transportation available to and from the airport for a larger family group and multiple problems with the plumbing at The Inn.
I must stress the service at The Inn at Mazatlan; it was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
The best Resort
We just come back from 3 weeks vacation. We love it so much we want to retire in Mazatlan. The hotel was very clean and friendly service.
All the staff go out of their way to please you. We planning to go back after x mas for a few weeks.

Best Place to Be!
My family and I have been to this resort twice (Februaury 2001 and 2002). We missed going there this year and will never miss it again.
The employees go out of their way to accomodate you. Their recommendations for activities have always been fabulous. The location is perfect, the restaurant is great and the on site entertainment is top notch. We look forward to going next year and every year after that.
The Inn @ Mazatlan
Just returned from 15 days @ the Inn ,for the most part it was OUTSTANDING !! The only bad thing was the last week of AUG. & first week of SEPT. is their maintenance times, nessessary but a little inconvient for the guests. As usual the staff went the extra mile to accomidate us . We will be going back next year as we have been since 1985. HJB
This property stinks!!
This property really stinks, its poor in service management, cleaning, and if you request a special service, you will be ignored. Sorry about this place.
Always the best
we are timeshare owners of two weeks. we've been to the inn 13 0f the last 16 years. we always look forward to going. our daughter has been going since she was 9. now at 25 she still looks forward to it. in fact, she went twice one year. we feel like family because that's the way they make us feel. it's the best in town. take our word for it.
Best Coffee In Town
We had a few days extra last week after using our timeshare in Matzatlan and selected the gracious Inn at Mazatlan to be closer to town. The rate was good and the room had a super view of the ocean, waterfall and over the new pool. Thanks for a review by dwille from St. Cloud, MN we had 'places to go'. The places that were packed each night at 8 p.m. were Rico's Coffee shop and bakery (I had the guava cake!). The icecream shop next door to it and the Inn at Mazatlan dining room -"Papagayos". Very good food every time.Best ribs in town were at the beachfront Panchos. Best fruit plate was at "The Place" - Best coffee in town was at The Inn (sorry Rico's)Best green salad I ever ate was at Cowboys.
Going Back in 2003
One of the best things about The Inn is that it is quiet and secure. I haved stayed at The Inn many times in the past twenty years. I have also stayed at other hotel/resorts in Mazatlan and other places in Mexico. The Inn is by far my favorite. The rooms and the grounds are very clean, the restaurant has wonderful food, the staff is friendly and helpfull (is Carlos still on the wait staff?) . I have stayed in the original and the newest addition of the Inn. Depending on what you want to pay for - the stay is wonderful either way. They have almost no late night activities (there is fiesta night - good fun!). I love the night life, but prefer to go elsewhere and be able to go back to my room for some quiet when it is time to sleep. Enough activities for everyone from the children to the "older than me group".
The Inn was awesome
I just spent Thanksgiving '01 there and had a fantastic time. The room we had was spacious and immaculate. The staff was friendly and the grounds were clean. Although the restaraunt was good, I'd recommend other places to eat.

Bullfight
We woke up still in Carnaval spirit and decided to head over to Playa Mazatlan Inn where they were having the Children's Ball. There was no real signage at the hotel leading us to the Ball, so we elected to follow some parents with kids up a staircase. We are really not sure if tickets were needed as we walked in with the family in front of us and …
