    ... carry mail between cities, not the other way around - passengers were an after thought! Oh, how times change!

    The next is the Lockheed Model 1049G Super Constellation (they have about 3 open viewings a year but given it was used as a restaurant prior to being moved to the museum, there is little to see. I'm told the inside is virtually empty).

    So we spent yesterday chillin out in the room, went to Safeway and got groceries for some home cooked meals. American supermarkets are crazy, cheap booze and stuff everywhere. I tried to find a stream of the World Series but failed so had to listen on the iPad doin the same thing tonight while have beer/rums and tacos.     ... arrived, Husb and I were able to squeeze in a stroll at Golden Gardens, yet another awesome park on the water. We also checked out Hiram Locks and the Salmon Bridge.     ... and who should answer, but the missing Mooney, and they were just about to land. I told the pilot that Flight Service was looking for them, but that I would report them safe. I then called back to Flight Service and shared the good news. I could immediately tell in the Flight Service person's tone of voice that I had provided them a great relief.
