A lot happened today! I kind of don't know where to start! I stood on the front lawn of the house that starred in the Goonies! It was so amazing and we even got to talk to the husband of the lady who owns it. She bought it in 2001 after moving up from California. It has a foreclosure sign on it and was ready to be torn down but she bought it, fixed it and it's still as amazing as it is in the movie. Before she bought ...

The Columbia is so wide, it is hard to differentiate between the two and it appears many ships have fallen into the trap of underestimating the power of the river over the last few centuries. The houses in Victoria are quite beautiful with each their own character and many date back to the 18th century. The prices to buy in Victoria are from ...

We left Portland on Wednesday and drove along the Columbia River on the Washington side all the way out to the Pacific. We stopped at the Ilwaco KOA. This place is located on the Long Beach peninsula by the mouth of the Columbia. We learned that the area called the Columbia Bar is the most dangerous waters in the US because of the force of the river flowing into the ocean. There are also numerous sand bars ...
