      ... some coffee, and off we go @ 235 miles to San Simeon. Bucket list check off commences at 9am PST tomorrow.
      Road trip was long but not long. Stopped along the way to view various sites. Water, water, Seals, and more water. Road curved but not as bad as Hana, and Donna didnt make more than 3 hissing noises.

      ... continued up the coast far enough to reach a KOA Kampground (spelled with a "K"), where we pitched a tent and spent the night. We met a father and daughter team who had driven on a motorcycle all the way from Canada. Bradlito and she spent several hours in the pool together and we met again at the campfire.       ... pool then all went to "Big Bubba's BBQ" for dinner. It was a pretty cool restaurant with jail cells you could eat in, a talking buffalo on the wall, and a mechanical bull! Both boys gave the bull a try while we were waiting for our dinner and the rest of us cheered them on. They loved it and wanted to do it again! We had yet another good meal together then headed back to the campsite.

      There were some beachcombers - combing for what ? - dodging the flotsam in their long pants and winter jackets as well as some heartier souls sunbathing in the 65 degree windscape who had cleared a spot in the sand.       ... the moon is either full, or almost full so I have enough light to see that our site directly faces the Pacific Ocean. There are tenters in the site across from us, then there’s a fence, then a cliff, then the ocean! There it is! I’ve never seen anything like it. It was amazing.
