We rented a kayak and kayaked across Morro Bay. We fought the wind on the way over to the far shore, but it was worth the fight! Upon landing, we walked the dunes and crossed the isthmus to the ocean. As it was novel we had a beer then went for a walk on the beach, really strange, my hair got damp and my clothes, took some weird videos and pictures, tried to see the sea and you won't believe it there were two guys surfing.. that would be really freaky... ... pool then all went to "Big Bubba's BBQ" for dinner. It was a pretty cool restaurant with jail cells you could eat in, a talking buffalo on the wall, and a mechanical bull! Both boys gave the bull a try while we were waiting for our dinner and the rest of us cheered them on. They loved it and wanted to do it again! We had yet another good meal together then headed back to the campsite.
