      ... a couple of cold spells for a day or so and have had a couple of spells of rain. Mostly though, it's been in the high 70's and mostly sunny. Really just perfect weather. The nights do get a little cooler - maybe in the 50's, but it warms right up during the day.

      This is an RPI Park - not great, but only a half hour from Corpus Christi, which we want to check out.
      I have blood tests scheduled for tomorrow morning in CC, and afterwards, we'll explore the USS Lexington, the aircraft carrier and museum docked in Corpus Christi.

      ... Dessa was skeptical about spending two weeks in Corpus. According to Trip Advisor there wasn't that much to do, so not super promising, but we kept to the plan and as it turned out we've had a great time.
