... across the bridge. It was quite the small town sight to see.

Other than that it was a pretty uneventful day topped off with some chocolate ice cream from one of the fudge shops. Tomorrow we will probably go back to Mackinac Island for one more day before heading back to Hessel to ready the boat for lay-up.

... in Lake Michigan and then went to Mackinaw City back on the Lake Huron side of the bridge.

It's been a long time since we were here (by car) and there seems to be even more fudge and t-shirt shops. There are also several small parks on the waterfront where one can take a postcard photo of the Mighty Mac. We did that even though we had taken lots of pics from the boat UNDER the bridge.

... off the freeway into a nice lake area took out time to get to Mackinaw City which by the way is very picturesque. A beautiful bridge spans the two lakes Huron and Michigan it was completed in 1958 and an engineering marvel as it can sway in the middle up to yes believe it 35 feet!
