It's Raining on the 'Sunshine' Coast!
... log cabins and what we had booked; a 'Tenthouse Suite'. To get to our suite we had to walk along a pathway of decking through the woods and along the sea front. Each suite was attached to this path with a gong and each entrance for a door bell.

We decided to stay another night and put the kayaks in and went to the trail head that went through the forest and over to Squirrel Cove on the other side of Cortez Island. The guide book said “about ½ hour”…NOT. It was about 1 ½ hours, but there was ice cream at the store so we were happy on the way back. Wandering around in Vancouver
