Waking up, after a frustrating night of sleep, to see that Notre Dame beat Michigan 31-0, made it a great start to a fabulous day! We enjoyed our "substantial Tyrollean breakfast" of yogurt, fruit, breads, pastries, Nutella, meats and cheeses before heading out to mass. The church here in Casterotto is massive. It is like to the church we went to in Kruth, France in style but much much bigger and more crowded. We walked through the very unusual cemetery prior to mass: ...
... ride was talking to a lovely, older couple from British Columbia, and finally getting a seat after 30 minutes of standing on this hot train. We arrived in Milan and quickly boarded train number two. We didn't get water as we knew we'd be in first class and would have food service. Lovely first class!! We sat in the shade on a bench - we were delighted to see through the trees and over ...
... They do not seem to do salad and mains together here. We walked around the castle in the dark. It is all lit up and stunning. More photos. Our room is dark with it's imposing dark furniture and panelled walls and the lighting is dim. Just as you would expect really. We realised that we can't remember where our AU SIM cards were put. Had a little look but really can't remember. Ah well, this time we will need to organise a pick up ahead of ...
